Silver Alert Issued For Teen Known To Frequent Fairfield County

Police agencies in Connecticut are looking to locate a missing teenager known to frequent Fairfield County.

A Silver Alert has been issued for Naugatuck resident Alex Gomez, 16, who has been classified as an endangered runaway who is known to visit the Greene Homes housing complex in Bridgeport.

Gomez was described as a “white/Hispanic male,” who is 5-foot-5 and approximately 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen on Wednesday, Jan. 29 between 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. walking from Naugatuck High School.

Police said they are working with the Connecticut Department of Children and Families to locate Gomez. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts has been asked to contact Naugatuck Police at (203) 729-5221.
